Nigerian international, William Troost-Ekong has officially extended his contract with Udinese to June 2023. The Super Eagles vice captain, who was born in the Netherlands, has added one more season to his current deal.
He was purchased from Turkish side Bursaspor in the summer of 2018 for €3.3m.So far this season, the 26-year-old has made nine Serie A appearances and one in the Coppa Italia.
He is expected to arrive at the team’s Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort camp in Uyo 48 hours before Nigeria’s clash next week’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.
