Former Flying Eagles skipper Isaac Promise has died according to a statement from his American club Austin Bold FC.
The 31 year old captained the Flying Eagles that lost to Argentina in the finals at the U-20 championship in Netherlands. The squad comprised of the likes of Mikel Obi, Taiye Taiwo, Chinedu Obasi and Onyeakachi Apam.
Three years later, he captained the Olympic dream team that won silver at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
He played most of his football in Italy for Gençlerbirliği, Trabzonspor andAntalyaspor before moving to American to join Austin Bold
