Brila Media Group Manager (Programmes and Content) Babafemi Raji has been appointed as the new Media Officer of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. He replaces Toyin Ibitoye who has served in that capacity for the past 5 years.

Raji who is married to Tiyeyosi and has a daughter ventured into sports journalism with NTA Ile-Ife between 2003 – 2006 as a freelancer while studying at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife. On graduation with Bachelor of Arts in English, he joined Sports Radio Brila FM, Nigeria’s first all-sport radio station in 2008.
The Federation also announced the appointment of Mrs Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu as the Media Officer of the Senior Women National Team, Super Falcons. She takes over from Miss Jane Onyinye Nweze.
Also worth noting is that, the Media Officer of the U-15 Future Eagles, Adepoju Samuel popularly known as Oganla Media has resigned from his role. He announced this via his Twitter handle. Some reports claimed he was forced to resign due to his active involvement in the #EndSARS campaign against Police brutality and harassment in Nigeria
