Rohr Name Ramon Azeez and Olayinka In 23 Man Squad For Brazil Friendly

Leicester forward Kelechi Iheanacho and Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa have both been dropped by Genort Rohr in the 23 man squad for Nigeria’s international friendly match against Brazil on October 13, at the Singapore National Stadium.

SK Slavia Prague forward Peter Olayinka has earned his first Nigeria call up who featured and scored in the Czech club’s UEFA Champions League opening match this season against Inter Milan, has never represented Nigeria at any level.

However, Ramon Azeez is making a return to the team since 2014 as the new faces in the team but Ahmed Musa and Leon Balogun are both ruled out of the next month encounter due to injury, while Leicester star Kelechi Iheanacho, Lokomotive Moscow Bryan Idowu and Bouadex striker Josh Maja, all who were invited for the last friendly against Ukraine miss out.

All invited players are expected to arrive in Singapore on Wednesday, 9th October.
